bed time

Robs Grandpas built these bunkbeds. I guess they have made their way through a few of the kids, and grandkids. This one imparticular was obviously last used by a niece. Her mom had painted it green and added flowers on the post to match her room. I decided to go with my trustworthy grey that never disappoints and now it is in Ms Coco's room. Her are some before and after pics.

Have I mentioned how much I love grey paint??!!

All that Jazz

For Christmas Dustin and Rob got Me and April Jazz tickets! I love going to Jazz games I think they are so fun, and no matter what, how crappy they play, how much they may disappoint we will always always be Utah Jazz fans! We went to Fridays night game and Monday nights game. Friday we won in overtime :) Monday...well Mondays game we got up and walked around and went to visit April and Dustins friend who works for KSL. We were able to go on the set and meet Thurl Bailey (2nd time for me. I met him once when I was a little kid at Valley fair mall but I didn't mention that to him even though I'm sure he remembers) and Alema Herrington which I had no idea who he was and why he was side busting in our picture, until afterwards lol.

Seth took us down on the floor to see the court and see how big the players actually are. It was pretty cool and so much fun.

Valentines Crafts

We did more painting this week. The kids can't get enough of it. So we just made it "valentinesie" . There was red and pink everywhere.

Then we made a heart wreath using some "fabric" that my mother in law gave me. She gave me some old clothes just to be able to use the material on all the crafts that I do. I thought that was so thoughtful and nice.

This skirt and pants became my wreathe on my front door in a matter of minutes. Thanx Sheila!!

Jonah and Eve just played and played while the rest of us crafted and crafted.
We also made heart ornaments for the windows which turned out so cute! It's beginning to feel a lot like Valentines day...

Slave driver

Rob had the kids shovel the walk after church on Sunday. I thought it was so funny that none of them complained. They grabbed their boots and gloves and had at it. And for the whole ten minutes they were out there, they were the cutest, hardest workers ever. Kaleb especially was cracking me up with that hat! We watched inside the warm house with Jonah, taking pictures through the window. We really are the best parents ever.

Team hair

Here is some pics of Coco's hair (again) and her dressed in one of her team uniforms.

Her hair is so long and pretty :)
She is a little dancing queen. I freaking love her!!

Twisted sister

The kids thought this was the coolest thing ever. It made me feel bad that I have never played Twister with them before. I did a lesson on lying (for some reason my kids have a problem with that, I have nooo idea where they get that from)and the whole "oh the tangled web we weave" thing. Twister was supposed to be the thing that makes them remember the lesson...we'll see I guess..

Dresser

My niece Cyndi gave me this dresser when she found out how much I love to paint old furniture. This just happens to be my favorite style also. I was so excited when I saw it!! I was going to do some bright crazy color, like usual, but I wanted something a little classic this time, and I feel like you can never go wrong with grey. Here are some before and after pics.

I am also very proud of this wreathe. It is roses made from book pages(it was a book on the Kennedy's so I didn't feel bad about destroying it :)) It is probably still one of the most time consuming crafts I have done!!

Sunday hair

In my last ward there was a family with 5 little blonde girls. They had beautiful dresses and perfect hair every single week. Their mom was my visiting teacher for a while and I asked how she managed to do all that before church. She told me "sponge rollers and a headband". So that's what I do with Coco.
Saturday night before bed we put the rollers in. This is my favorite part. She reminds me of a cute little old lady :)

In the morning her hair literally takes about 2 seconds!! Just take the rollers out and put the headband in.

She is just so stinken gorgeous!!
