Red Ribbon week: be the best YOU

Picture Day happened to land on red ribbon week so we couldn't really have the kids dress up as anything...we decided to focus on them this day, because you should be your own hero. The theme was to be the best you possible. Everyone one looked great for their pictures. We also went around reading their "Hero" essays. It was so funny and touching to read what this crazy kiddo's wrote. We chose a winner from each grade...6th grade had a winner from each class..the winners had their essays matted, framed and tied with a big red ribbon...hopefully they will give it to the person they chose as their hero. They wrote some really nice things on there. Have I mentioned how much I love these freaking kids??
