Nevada, not Vegas

So...we were supposed to have this big family trip over fall break to Nevada...of course work got in the way again so I ended up riding down with Aprils family and meeting up with just one other family and Cami and Will...BUT it was still so fun. For me it was actually a  vacation instead of a trip. I didn't have a worry in the world, no stress, I didn't have to make any decisions, not worry about any kids, just enjoy MYSELF.

We went down for Buggeramma a VW car show that we do annually as a family. There is a car show, vendors and drag racing all VW's..its so fun.

We ended up staying at the Westin on Lake Las Vegas which is GORGEOUS and away from all the crap in Vegas. There is no casino and no smoking in the hotel. It is very family oriented. They had a pool, a beach, paddle board, kayaks, and paddle boats. I loved it!

We went to Red Rock which is a national park and did a BEAUTIFUL hike that reminded me so much of Emerald Pools in St george but even prettier!

It was such a great vacay, I returned feeling completely relaxed, clear headed and well zen...lol but seriously...
