Red Ribbon Week: Athletes

Going along with the the "Hero" theme for red ribbon week Tuesday was "dress as your favorite athlete day".

At a PTA convention I attended back in the Spring I found out the Utah Blaze (arena football team) will come to your school and do a assembly for free!! We jumped on that....free what???...and set it up   for them to come.

 This was a little awkward.....but whatever.....

 They called up some teachers and students for a push up contest

This little cutie "won" the contest and got a really nice jersey out of it!! She was so happy :)

 The players came out to give everyone high five, the kids were mauling them like they Justin Bieber....all they wanted to do was just touch them and they would be happy

 We have the cutest kids at our school. They get excited about everything! I love it! The players commented on how good our student body is, they were so impressed.

The players and our principal Ms Hansen...she freakin rocks.
