Pioneer Day

Yet another great thing about living in Utah...2 patriotic holidays in one month!! July 24th is something the rest of the world doesn't seem to understand, but for us it is another red, white, and blue day and more fireworks!!

This year was even more special for us and an even bigger deal because Dustin (bro-inlaw) was in charge of the float for his stake (which is also the ward/stake we just moved out of). I couldn't believe how much time, work, and energy he had to put into it. The floats are displayed at the expo center the mon and tues before the 24th for a "float preveiw" so I took the kids over to that and it was like a full on carnival. They had a blast! Coco was bouncing around like a piece of popcorn, I didn't realize she liked marching band music so much!!

Uncle Dustin and the kiddos..the float turned out great!!

And then the grand finale...the parade!! After all of these years I have never been to the Days of 47 Parade. It was so fun! So not as chaotic as I always thought it would be..definitely doing it again!

Utah float!!!!!!yay!!!!

Love, love, love this pic!

These two pics make me laugh...I wonder what was going thru Luke's head
