Fall Time

Man oh man, I LOVE fall! It is hands down my favorite time of year. I love the weather, the clothes, the colors, school time, sports, and all the busy-ness that comes with it!!

Lucas chose to try flag football this year, I was shocked (and secretly ecstatic), and was even more shocked when I saw him play. He is good!! Who would have that that flighty little Lukie could naturally and instinctivly grab a football, two handed, right hand on top, and book it???? Even his coach asked him "how old are you?" and had a pleased smile on his face when Lucas confirmed "yes I am 7 and yes I'm on your team".

Kaleb his bidding his time with soccer, waiting until he is old enough for football. Every game so far he has been the only scorer on his team, and never wants to sit any of it out. Last game the coach had to physically remove him from the field, cuz Kaleb just wanted to keep playing.

*on a side note Colbie-blair has left her dance co. I quietly had her try out for a competition cheer team, which she made, and let her choose. She chose cheer hands down. And you will be seeing more of that soon!!

                                                 Utes won, just sayin...

Another one of our nephews has left on his mission, we now have two nephews serving missions and one niece working her papers!!! YAY to missionary work!!
Luke turned 7!! He had a star wars themed pool party and he kept saying it was "the best day ever!" music to a mothers ears!

These little cuties got a nice surprise and got to stay out past their bedtime on a school night and see Wizard of Oz in 3d, yes Coco is in her jammies, she thought she was going to bed ok?!?! :)

And my little buddy and I have 3 hours a day all to our selves, which for some reason makes everyone think, including myself, that I should have a ton of free time to do all kinds of things, but you know what...I don't.  :)

wonder whitney

We did an autism awareness walk for our little friend Whitney and her family. It was really cool to see all of the support they have and it was neat for my kids to be there, asking questions and getting answers and knowing that they can always do something to help and make a difference in people lives.

and of course where there is Kinikini's there is dancing and music, and for some reason they can get ANYONE to dance!

I'm a big kid now

I still cannot fully process what has happened today. My little twinners started Kindergarten! I have had small moments since the day they were born, wondering if we would all make it sanely and intact to this milestone....and now that it is here it is surreal. Can they really be old enough to be on their own? in separate classes?! We have another little set of twinner friends in our neighborhood, boy/girl, same age, yay! So they have both been split to experience a little independence. I was completely fine with that decision, until today. Coco, I mean Colbie-blair, walked into her class and the door shut behind her with a thud. I pictured her terrified and shutting down...I knew Kaleb would be fine cuz he is my tough guy, Colbie's protector, but Coco, oh Coco. So sensitive, so meek....boy was I wrong. The bell rang and she literally pranced out of class with a crown on her head eating a rice krispie treat, without a care in the world :) Kaleb was saying "see ya" to all his buddies, fist pumping them as if they had known each other forever. I felt a little twinge in my heart when I saw how strong they were!! It is so cool to watch them evolve into their own person, with their own opinions and personalities.  My little babies are big kids now, and I am so so proud to be there mama.

getaway

Most of my family was able to meet up in St George over Labor day weekend and do a quick little "Fisher vacay". St George has always  kinda been our "spot". My Dad used to take us there every year..so when we found out Will had never been, or heard of it for that matter lol, we jumped on the chance to give him the full experience :) We spent the first day in Zions, walking around like we owned the place.

The next day we went to Snow canyon and experienced something new to all of us, the Lava Caves....AWESOME!!

Yepp, we climbed down that hole, we are awesome.

And finished the day off poolside :)

The last day of our trip we hit up the driving range..

Cami and I quickly realized that not being good at golf sucks and had to find other ways to entertain ourselves and torture everyone else that is good at everything, don't worry guys I'm just jealous :)

hahaha looking at these pics over and over and I'm still laughing. I love being with my family and being able to lose myself in the moment..oh we also came home with a new pet..a tarantula Rob caught at the golf course, she is huge! Rob took her to work to show everyone so I can't take a pic of her. The kids were carrying around her jar like they just got a new puppy or something! Her name is Francis, furry Francis :)
